This seminar is aimed at the boater who has some knowledge of basic navigation procedures, but wants to take advantage of the newest generation of low-cost, hand held GPS units, while continuing to plot position on the traditional paper chart.
The easy-to-read manual that has gained recognition among boaters is part of the U.S. Coat Guard Auxiliary's educational program.
This course consists of two evenings and a Saturday field session.
