HAVE YOU EVER BEEN CAUGHT UNAWARE BY THE WEATHER?
DID YOU EVER WONDER WHAT THOSE FUNNY CLOUDS IN THE SKY MEANT?
DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT CAUSES WEATHER EVENTS?

If you want to know more about the weather and how it affects you as a boater then "Fundamentals of Weather " is a must course for you.

Running six nights of three hours each, it will cover the important areas of pressure, wind, impacts of temperature and moisture, and the basic understanding of the causes of weather and its progression through the various stages of the life cycle of weather events. Particular attention is paid to the art of weather observation and forecasting as well as a detailed understanding of fronts, frontal weather patterns, thunderstorm creation and activity.

An important part of the course is the detailed review of cloud creation, types and effect on the current and forecast weather. Weekly weather observations are reviewed each night in class so that the learning process is based on "real time" experience.

This is a must course for all boaters, whether they are long distance cruising or day tripping. All course materials are supplied.
